2023 GHAPS Bond

In May 2023, voters will be presented with a choice to vote for a $155,000,000 bond proposal for GHAPS. Due to increased property values, this bond would be funded at a ZERO TAX INCREASE from the prior year’s tax rate!

Please take a moment to consider the improvements that can be made at GHAPS:

  • New Middle School constructed on Lincoln St including a full performing arts wing, gym(s), all playing fields, and the newest technologically equipped classrooms.
  • Lakeshore MS sold and repurposed/redeveloped.
  • New playgrounds, secure entrance enhancements, and finish updates at all elementary schools.
  • New multi-use indoor facility at GHHS to support football, marching band, and a host of other fall, winter, and spring sports. Additional security and finish updates at GHHS.
  • New transportation garage and bus purchases.

$3 million for PERFORMING ARTS!

  • A full performance shell for the GHHS Stage
  • $100,000 for elementary Orff instruments
  • A Steinway concert grand piano @ GHHS
  • New rehearsal pianos at WPIS and MS
  • New low strings at WPIS and MS
  • All new marching brass instruments for GHHS BMB
  • Band Trailers
  • New percussion and tubas @ WPIS, MS, and HS
  • New harmony woodwinds @ WPIS, MS, and HS
  • Expanded lighting and sound systems in all PACs
